Baby Blanket Blues...

So, I decided to start crocheting a baby blanket for a friend's daughter who was due in a few weeks to have a baby girl.

What started as a two week project designed to help me procrastinate when I should be completing uni work has become the "Never Ending Blanky"!!!

I did not take into account the fact that I was working with much finer wool and an even finer crochet hook so instead of snapping through a row of stitches in a few minutes, every row is taking nearly an hour and adds less than half a centimetre to the overall length...

Brightside, I reckon it will be done by her first birthday...
